PTL (Parent, Teacher League) is a school-based organization with a mission to make the school a better place for children to learn. Parents of students work together with teachers to volunteer in classes, raise money for the school and generally support the school's efforts. PTL members are parent volunteers that meet throughout the school year and provide multiple events throughout the school year to promote family bonding. Our hope is for families to develop a strong connection with each other, as well as, with the faculty and staff of Zion St. John. PTL is open to any family member of ZSJ.
PTL is in charge of the following projects: Back to School snacks, Scholastic Book Fair, PT Conference lunches for teachers, Spring Fling & Fundraiser, Teacher Appreciation Breakfast, Room parents, Holiday parties in the classroom, Christmas Program desserts and concession stand at all events. Parents, staff, and board are encouraged to attend the events.
